  1. Yes they can. They can drive buy and see how many TVs are hooked up to cable from the road. If there are five apartments and only one person has an account, and there are 8 TVs hooked up then they will look into it.

    It is a felony to steal cable. If someone is on probation or in trouble with the law then they will get in a lot of trouble for it. Some days they have people drive around and this is all they do. It only happens once in  while but it happens and people get caught.


  2. The digital cable box will only work for so long, after awhile they send a signal thru the line that will make the box not work anymore.
