  1. no

  2. Casinos can set the payout ratios for their machines.  The payout ratio is determined by a computer chip which is installed in the machine.  We can change the ratio by changing the chip.

Because we have to have a slot mechanic change the chip we cannot simply "flip a switch" in the office and change the ratios.  We cannot have it set to a timer to change for different hours of the day.  We would have to have a slot mechanic spend hours on the floor changing out the chips by hand.  We also have to have prior approval from the Gaming Commission for the programs and ratios we will be using.

  3. No, it will be unethical.

  4. No.  all slots are random .hold percentages are set internally according to state regulations (in the US).although i have heard that SDS has a system whereas hold percentages can be changed by computer externally.  still though not by a time factor to make slots hit .the casino still must stay within the percentages set by the state.

  5. Yes they can.

  6. Depends on the state. In vegas there is an amount that they have to payout. Dont know about every place but most are mandated to payout a certain amount. Thats why they advertise "loosest" slots in town.
