  1. No....the White Sox and Twins are still playng consistently..maybe next year

  2. probably next year. their current trend seem to be 1 good year followed by one bad year.

this year though, as much as i like the tribe, no way

  3. they pretty much conceded when they trade Blake, Sabathia and Byrd.  I dont see them coming back  from that large of a deficit.

  4. HAhahahahahahaha...

    kidding?

  5. not with the way theyre playing, it may be time to pick one player and start building around him, that player could be Ben Francisco. btw you spelled "Cleveland" wrong

  6. i doubt it. they would be way lucky to even get in as a wild card

  7. No.....but I think CLEVEand can. Jeeezus.....

  8. No chance!

  9. 11 games back is not the place to be in August for any ballclub. While it is possible that the Indians COULD make the playoffs, that means they have to still have to play hot and hope that either at least the White Sox or Twins have a free fall. While they may be losing now, I don't think you can assume that either one of those teams is just going to fall apart.

  10. if you are talking about October 2009 ... only maybe.

  11. With the trade of Sabathia the Indians are essentially throwing in the towel this season.  The plan will be to go with younger players and build a team for the future.

  12. no way not a chance

  13. No chance

  14. Well part of the reason they've been playing better lately is because Paul Byrd was 4 and 0 since the All Star break.  Now he's in Boston so they'll need somebody else to step up and pitch good.  I'm talking to you Jeremy Sowers!  You never know but I think 11 games might be too much to ask.  They still have to jump over 3 other teams.

  15. No....yes they are playing a lot better now and even as a White Sox fan I didn't count them out early because of all the talent on that team, but they have dug a hole to deep to climb out of.

The White Sox and Twins would both have to fall and I don't think that would happen. The Indians would still even need to pass the Tigers, so I don't think we can say that will happen this year.
