Can the contact lens power for a normal spherical lens be derived from a toric lens prescription?

ok my toric lens prescription is:

R -3.50 -0.50 x 90

L -3.75 -0.75 x 90

this is the prescription for toric lenses...so is my normal spherical lenses power -3.50 and -3.75 for R and L eye respectively?
