  1. As long as you are only "streaming" from the internet (that is, once you close your web browser you can no longer view the video until you load it again from the internet), you are not doing anything illegal.  The illegality lies in the web site, but the cops can't find them for very complicated reasons amplified by the enormous size of the internet.  Point and case: don't download a lot and cops won't come after you.  Once you start putting stuff on your hard drive, this is illegal and cops can come and arrest you, although most of the time they only go for the big downloaders.

  2. If that was the case a lot of people would be taking a ride downtown.

  3. Hes not the only one guy who does that, cops would have hard work if they did that

  4. yes they 'can' (if they have a search warrant or resons to believe something illegal is happening)

BUT its up to them if they 'will' move

    you see my point here?

yes the cops/authorities can come to your house considering your internet service provider (isp; comcast, at&t, verizon etc.) has a record of everything you do in the internet.. (which is legal, infact it is usually included in the agreement)

the problem is if they "will", think about the million people in america who download illegal stuff (music/videos) every second, everyday 365 days a year.

alot of people huh, dya think they would do the trouble of filing a search warrant or goin in ones house to arrest every single people that did those stuff?

infact the authorities have much more concern about finding "terroris-tic" stuff than illegal music and video download on the net.

my point here is do what you want on the net, just dont forget someone is always watching...

  5. Sometimes they will, iv'e know people who got caught downloading p2p soungs and getting charged $400 each . but it is illegal and he has a 50/50 chance of getting caught. Even if you cant stop him, at least ask him to use a proxie so that it will minimize his chances of getting caught

  6. As long as these files are not being downloaded from the site to his computer, no. It is the site's idea to host these files and they are the ones to get in trouble for it. That is if the movie company or makers find them. Make sure not to download, then you can get caught.
