Can the dentist tell your parents if they suspect your bulimic?

Im 17 and live in new york if that helps with confidentiality laws and all.

    AT 17 YOU'RE STILL AS MINOR, FOR THEM TO NOT INFORM IS PROFESSIONAL NEGLECT.

  3. No they can't. Many dentists I bet wouldn't even know you were anyway. I'm a recovering bulimic. I lost most of the enamel off my teeth! They used to be beautiful white. Now they're yellow. Please get some help and stop doing this. I know what your going through. It is hard. But you'll feel so much better once you stop. Your throat will stop hurting. Your chest will stop hurting. YOU CAN DO THIS!!! Plus you can use all your diet energy towards something good. I have a daughter now and I don't worry about my diet half as much as I used to. PLus, I went to a hospital for a program for eating disorders. I think if I hadn't gone, I would of died. Keep this in mind! I started at 17 and I'm now 27.
