The card says the effect can only be used once per turn. I am curious to whether you may use it on your oppoent's turn or not.

  1. No you can't.

  2. yea

  3. No you can't.  Unless it specifically states it on the card that you can use it during either players turn, then you can't.

D.D. Crow, for example, states that you can use its effect during either players turn.

  4. Relinquished has a Spell Speed 1 effect.

Of all the Spell Speed 1 effects, the only ones that can be used on the opponent's turn are TRIGGERs. For example, if your opponent destroys Sangan, it's effect activates because Sangan is a trigger effect (It has an "If...than..." text)

Relinquished is an IGNITION effect. That means you can use it, but only during your Main Phase. so no, you can not (otherwise it'd be plain broken).

There are monster effects that are Spell Speed 2, like Kuriboh, but these are MULTI-TRIGGER.

  5. no, only on your turn. it would say "you can use this effect on your opponent's turn" if that were possible

  6. only if you poo on the card
