  1. yes the ashes are the most important series in world cricket. This is where the test match series started. India has lots of fans of 20/20 and ODIs but little test match interest and this is the pinnacle of the game. The fans tend to be abit too excitable and not always that knowledgeable.

Edit: 'test cricket are always seen whole day ???' not sure what point your trying to make, do you mean you watch test cricket all day?

Yes i have a point the existence of cricket could be imagined without India. The reason is they aren't interested in test matches as other countries, and this is the pinnacle of the game. No-one is that bothered about playing India in some mickey mouse ICC cup, but Test series against WI, SA and Aus that's were the real interest and challenges are.

  2. Yes.

    Money is secondary.

Cricket was there for about a century earlier, before India took to cricket.

  3. India is the base. All the enthusiasm they show is second to none.

  4. Existence of cricket can be imagined without India though India has tons of people crazy about cricket and cricket is a big business generating money and all that but lets not forget that Pakistan also has cricket the number one sport. And what about England and Australia? I think it's hard to not think about these two countries when you talk cricket. In my opinion without England & Australia cricket has no home.

  5. Yes, of course it can. Cricket has been played for hundreds of years with and without India. As an Aussie, I always look forward to the series against India, especially their top order batsmen but to me the zenith in cricket are the Ashes Tests.

  6. no
