Can the expenses for immigration on a K-1 (fiance) visa be written off as a tax deduction?

My English fiance and I are spending an absolutely exorbitant amount of money to get him into the country so we can get married. I was wondering if any of it was tax-deductible?

  1. No there is no tax benefit


  2. NO it isn't deductible.  It's part of the cost of his being allowed to immigrate.

  3. Mostly no.  

    Immigration expenses are not tax deductible, especially fiance visa processing. H1B filing fees that an employer incurs, however, are tax deductible
