Can the frog jump out?

a frog is in the well. the well is 9m deep the frog jump 3m everytime how many time must the frog jump to jump out of the well?

he can jump all he wants but he will never be able to get out of the well since he can only jump 3m each jump.  example, the first time he jump he will jump 3m.  and he will fall back down to the bottom.  so unless he can jump 3m from each point of the ending of a jump then he will never get out. basically he needs to be able to jump 9.1 to be able to get out.
