I think Im a bit short for the standard lie angle of my driver that the toe is above the ground on setup. I know you can shorten the length of the club but can the lie angle be altered aswell to suit me?

  1. yes you can but if your driver is a Callaway then its more difficult as they don't have a hosel. I havent seen many done outside tour golf because the sweet spot and club face is so big it doesn't make a massive difference to the ball flight, but if it gives your more confidence when it sits better then enquire at your local pro shop and if they can't do it I'm sure they could send it to the company to do it for you.

  2. yes? u can I do the same thing

  3. Most clubs you can bend the hosel a little to change the lie angle, but if the club truly is too long for you, this isn't really going to help much.

  4. Yes, on some driver heads the hosel may be bent to allow the toe of your club to come down perhaps 2 degrees..  Check a good pro shop.  Most will charge about 5 dollars to bend it for you depending if they have the proper apparatus.

  5. You can actually have a driver bent, but the likelyhood of you having a tour driver is very slim.  You can not do this with almost any stock drivers.  The tour drivers have hosels that are meant to be bent a little bit.  Without a tour driver, i would not recommend it.

  6. Making the club shorter will make the lie angle change, but making it shorter will change the swingweight so you will need to add weight to the head.  Here's a link go locate a club fitter near you look one up and call him and ask the same question, good luck
