Can the lottery be manipulated without the use of numbers??

My lottery system is done by computer so I was wondering if their are ways that the lottery institutions manipulate the lottery without the use of numbers??

You can't even manipulate it WITH numbers ;)  It's not perfectly random but it's pretty d**n close and too close to benefit from, and to the extent it's not it's impossible to predict.  In other words there's no telling which balls will fall, etc.
