Can the name "Jessenia" be pronounced and spell as "Gezenia"?

I'm not sure about the pronunciations of Arabic, but I know that most would read it as Gessenia, not Gezenia in English because of the double s instead of single s, but you can say it's pronounced however you want to. You could say the name ghjzf is pronounced Ashley if you really wanted. If you like the name Gezenia, you should use that spelling and pronunciation.

Yes, it can. It would still make the same sound, except the "ss"/"z" difference, but if you pronounce it that way it really doesn't matter how you spell it.

It CAN be pronounced that way, but others might not get it right.(ex- Gessenia)  Maybe if there was just one 'S.' Two S's make the sound soft.
