  1. 1*2

    (1/2)*4

in general a*(2/a), where a is any postive real number.

  2. *maybe*

    1 x 2

    - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

this presupposes a *lot* of things

    a) "number" is an integer "n"

    b) an integer can be represented as a rectangle

    c) this rectangle has dimensions: "a" by "b" (both integer)

    such  that

a less than or equal to sqrt(n)

b greater  than or equal to sqrt(n)

    for all possible combinations a,b

    (b-a) is a minimum

    d) this representation is unique

  3. I.. ah.. No? I think.. what?
