complete question:

Can the number of days of my stay in a certain country be renewed if I were to leave the country and come back after a few days?

For example, I were to stay in Dublin, Ireland and stay there for about 20 days. Afterwhich I fly over to Holland and come back to Dublin a few days later. Will I have another 30 allowed days to stay in Dublin?

  1. Assuming you're just talking about a normal visa-waiver tourist entry, it depends on your citizenship/passport.  US citizens, for example, are allowed 180 days to play tourist in the UK, and 90 days inside the Schengen border.  You can not leave for a day and return with a fresh tourist allowance.  It's 90 in \ 90 out (Schengen, combined), and 180 in\180 out (UK combined).  The Republic of Ireland is not part of the United Kingdom, and also does not participate in the Schengen border agreement.

  2. If you have a valid visa, then yes will be allowed to re-enter  and stay for another 30 days.

  3. You can leave the country for 6 months your OK.

  4. sure no prob
