Can the only Aunt and Uncle of my only child be the God Parents as well?

My husband is an only child and I have a sister who is married but is not planning on having any kids. I have a 8 month old daughter and can't figure out who the god parents should be. Can God Parents be related or not? Does it matter?

Yes, godparents can be related, in fact I think its preferable.  My husband and my siblings are all godparents to our children.

Friends may come and go in your life.  Family is there forever.  I know many people who their parents had friends be their godparents... they no longer speak to these friends, so the child has no contact with the godparents.

Yeah god parents can be anyone even u and ur hubby...I have my sil, hubbys cousin, my brother and my hubbys friend

Yes they can...they can be whoever you want as long as they are the same religion as yourself.

God parents can be whoever you choose. But make sure you know the difference between God parents and people that you want to raise your child in the event that something happens to you. God parents are the people that you want to watch over your children's religious upbringing, it has nothing to do with guardianship.

God parents do not have to be related.  We choose my brother and his sister for our first and for our second, our 2 best friends (who are married).

yes. both my elder two children have aunts and uncles as god parents. this doesnt make any difference if they are related or not. what the requirement is is that they are respectable adults who will guide your child correctly in life.

god parents are like a customer nothing legal about it so you can choose whoever you want...dont have to be related
