Can the outside doghouse also serve as the birthing box?

Question

My lab is an outdoor only pet. Can she use her doghouse as the whelping box as well? And, are all the puppies going to be okay just being outside in the heat? Do they need any special treatment or anything?

they should be ok, in the wild dogs tend to their pups, make sure the mom is well fed though

They should be fine, as long as their well-fed and have a nice home. Good luck! And you can always contact the local pet store or vet for more information.
