Can the owner of the album tell if you download a Hi-Res Pic in Snapfish?

I am gathering some pics for an x-mas gift this year for my parents and want to use some of the photos on thier snapfish album. I have been invited to view the album, but I don't want them to know I have downloaded the hi-res photos until they get the gift, so if I buy the hi-res photos, does snapfish let them know?

My guess is that if you buy the picture, snapfish will let him know because obviously he has to be paid, but if you just download the picture without buying, he will not know.
