Can the people on Ebay see people's credit card number.?

Not if you are using paypal.

Paypal is used as a sort of "mediator", you register your credit card with paypal, and they take the money out of your account and transfer the money to the ebay member. That way they cannot see any of your info, but still get their money. THey wont even know what type of credit card you used to pay.

However some ebay members, WILL take you credit card # as payment, but I would highly advise against that.

Use paypal, its safe, you are protected, and no one will see your information. :-)

You are not giving your details to the seller - you are giving them to Paypal - who collect the money on behalf of the seller.
