To the people here that suggest the second amendment does not grant us the right to own guns. can you please show me one other example where these illiterate hacks that framed our constitution screwed up the wording so badly you cannot understand what it means?

Can we now question your right to free speech as well? The first amendment is about as direct as the second...we better get the supreme court on that one, right libs?

Do liberals even realize that the Bill of rights is inalienable?

You cannot take any of those rights away!

And if you do not like them, you might want to consider moving to a country that fits your needs.

The law means nothing unless interpreted a certain way.  The thing that makes the law profound is the people who hold the seats in the Supreme Court.
