  1. Yes the police can track a credit card.  The best thing for you to do right now is to tell your grandpa what you did and give him the money.  You will have less trouble with your grandpa and probably no trouble with the police if you tell the truth now.  I seriously doubt that he will send you to a detention home for this BUT now is the time for you to practice your groveling and begging.  Tell him that you know that you were wrong and offer to work off your punishment by doing ANY jobs he wants you to do.  It goes without saying that you tell him that you have learned your lesson and will NEVER do this again.

  2. Depending on the top up amount, they might not want to contact the police. Certainly they would not if you were honest about using the card. It's definitely better than being taken by the cops.

  3. He won't even need to police. A call to the credit card company will tell him everything he needs to know. Because it is his account, he has full access to all the information in it.

  4. Alll he has to do is call the credit card company and they'll tell him where it was charged to.  Just fess up and pay him back, and learn your lesson, because now you're also in trouble for lying to him.....Take your lumps kid and think next time.

  5. It's not just for the sake of the fiver, is it. Surely, it runs much deeper than that, if not for you, then certainly  for your Grandad.  And yes, of course the transaction can be tracked - easily.

  6. Yes they can, you should own up now. If he loves you he will forgive you.

  7. they can track the number it was used to top up, which will lead them to you

  8. grow up.

  9. It is easily traceable and they will trace it even if its only a fiver.

Just tell your grandad it was you, pay him back, apologise and dont do it again.

  10. First, Please learn proper English ?

Next, you better fess up and go straight with your Granddad....

We all make mistakes, but we have to own up to them...Right away...

Hope this helps....Do the right thing

  11. Own up, pay the money back and then say how sorry you are.

  12. Yes, the Police can track credit card transactions.  There is also other evidence that may be present that can be checked such as CCTV, phone calls etc.

Grow up a bit, come clean and pay back the money and stop taking advantage of your elderly relatives.
