I mailed a file folder package about 4 days ago (last tuesday) and the person has not received it yet. I did not receive a tracking number at the post office when i sent it, and i did not get insurance on it. Is there a way that they could find out where it is for me. even though i dont have a tracking number?

  1. If you sent it USPS and didn't pay for Tracking Confirmation, then you can't track it.  I don't think that they can track it down; they can only give you estimated arrival dates.

This is why many people go with UPS, for instance, because tracking info is always included.

  2. Give them a chance

  3. Four Days ago was last Thursday by my calendar.. and the post office takes Sunday off, so you really only have about 2 days of travel time baked into your estimation.  I would wait a few more days before worrying.

If you didn't purchase the tracking up front, then there is no way to track it now.  You will have to wait until it arrives.  If it's not there in a week (this Thursday), go to your local post office and see if there is anything they can do for you.
