  1. I believe so. maybe this explains why Kate Garraway hasn't been voted off 'Strictly Come Dancing'.

  2. Being the Head of State, no, she cant vote.

Prime Minister is the Head of the Civil Service (in case you wanted to know)

  3. She can vote, but it's frowned on so she doesn't do it.

From UK Parliament Elections FAQ (see link below):

    Can the Queen vote?

The Queen can vote, but in practice it is considered unconstitutional for the Monarch to vote in an election.

  4. " NO AND IF SHE CAN SHE SHOULD NOT BE ALOWED TO VOTE "

  5. No, by convention the Queen doesn't vote. The rest of the royal family do though.

  6. I've heard that British royals and aristocrats have the right to vote in their country.

  7. No she cannot she has to remain impartial.

  8. She and most members of the Royal family can vote but don't. They are supposed to be politically impartial. Minor untitled members (like Princess Anne's children) probably do vote but the Queen. Prince Charles and Prince William don't. If the Queen "supported" a particular party and a different party came to power then she could be forced to abdicate.

  9. No.

  10. The Queen does not vote. She doesn't have too. All political parties who come into power are her government.

Every week the acting Prime Minister goes to Buckingham Palace for an audience with The Queen.

  11. i think she can but doesnt.

if the mps can vote then surely she can.
