    FULL HDTV by Definition is 1920 × 1080 pixels

    Thus the term -1080 Vertical resolution and then the i (interlaced) or p (progressive)  scan

    The specs for your TV are "HD Ready TV Screen Resolution: 1440x900"  So it will do 720p which is considered to be High Definition buy NOT Full High Definition.

    The only true 1080p comes from a video source in your home like the  PS3, Blu-Ray DVD, ect.  no TV broadcast is in 1080p.
