Question:

Can the scoring system alter fantasy football draft?

Our league has the following scoring structure:

Passing Yards (30 yards per point)

Passing Touchdowns (6)

Interceptions (-2)

Rushing Yards (12 yards per point)

Rushing Touchdowns (6)

Reception Yards (12 yards per point)

Reception Touchdowns (6)

etc.....

Points for passing TDs seem alot higher than common scoring systems I see. Would this alter the value of QB during draft day?

TIA

  1. yes it would... this makes top  tier qb's more valuable than top tier running backs. With this scoring system, Picks like Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, and Carson Palmer will all be 1st and 2nd round picks, because qb's usually throw more touchdowns than running backs rush for or recievers catch.
