Can the secretive scorpio nature go too far?

Question

I have a scorpio best friend that is incredibly secretive even about things that affect our friendship. It is driving me crazy. I have been very respectful of it over the years but it is so frustrating. For example they will attend an event and not tell me. What is the big deal ? Am I overreacting? I am a Taurus.

I'm a Scorpio female and I can be guilty of being secretive to my friends sometimes, but it's never done maliciously.  I just do it because sometimes I don't want to have to explain myself. Simple as that.  Sometimes, I don't like being questioned and just do things on my own terms.  For example, I'll tell my friend I just stayed home when I really went to someone's house party or something like that.  I'll only do that when I don't feel like explaining to my friend how it was and who I went with etc etc. I don't blame you from feeling the way you do. I mean if you're best friends, and if it bothers you this much, you should share your worry with her and I'm sure she'll understand. Scorpio's make very loyal friends.  I know I am.

Yes you are over reacting. Scorpios tend to be secrative and like to have there space away. It is a scorpio thing.

Ya ur overreacting...trust me a scorpio is VERY loyal to their friends and if she didnt want to tell you dont get frustrated because maybe she just needs space

im a scorpio and i sometimes dont tell my friend where i go, for example if i know my friend wouldnt approve where i went then i wouldnt tell becuz i would never want it to affect our friendship...u have to understand it soo hard for a scorpio to open up its something u cant control.

its probably jus a phase and gice it some time

im sure shell come around

How is it affecting your friendship for her to go someplace with someone else and not tell you? It seems that if she tells you , you will get upset with her, which is why she most likely keeps it hush.  Maybe if you could learn to handle things like that a little better she would be more open. Scorpio's often keep things hush to protect other people's feelings, or because they simply don't want to hear it. They need their space.

Your overreacting lol. Scorpio's are known for their secretivity and loyalty. If she IS keeping a secret from you its probably something you don't want to know.

I have a scorpio friend too who is similar. They tend to like a large variation of friends, acquaintances and activities. They are born actors and excel in the moment, they (friend, niece and co-worker) like to be challenged and appreciated. They have an inner secrecy need, almost as if it acts as a safety belt for them, safety as in not giving all of themselves away. They like to hold something of themselves back while appearing socially to being upfront.

Your overreacting. Sometimes you just have to let the scorpio have there space, and that's her space. Even though she's your friend she doesn't have to tell you everything.

Yes, you're over reacting. Scorpios are very secretive. You don't know what their next move is as they can be moody at times. Don't let it affect your friendship. We all have negative and positive traits. I'm sure some of your traits drive him crazy. (non?) =) It's what friendship is all about. Accepting each individual as they are. Perhaps you should ask your friend if they will attend? That way you'll know.  I, for instance, haven't been telling my family or friends what I'm up to, where I'm going or doing. I've been rather withdrawn lately. I guess I'm craving a lot of privacy and space. It's a scorpio thing. Good Luck!

I'm a scorpio and as that i can honestly tell you...we like are space and were sensitive were not necessarily hurt your feelings or hide things from you cuz I'm sure your friends not...its just our nature...don't worry about it ....i wouldn't take it to seriously..shell come around.

They are very loyal. You don't need to be worried. Most Scorpios would never hurt someone they call "friend". Maybe its all in your mind. Maybe its not. All I know, is that she probably isn't doing this to purposely hurt you.
