Can the someone just take my money?

So I deposited a check into my B of A can someone hack in an take all my money? What steps do I go through after my money is all taken and deposited check is gone from my account? What is the bank responsible for?

It depends what exactly happened. If your girlfriend had your ATM card, with your permission, and just decided to break up with u, and take all ur money, u'd probably be liable, for having gave her the card and pin number.  You could take her to court, but the bank would not be liable.

If I found your ATM card, and guessed the pin number, and u report it lost within 24 hours, you would be liable for the first portion, typically $50-$100 of the loss, the bank would take the rest of the loss..

you should consult a rep from your bank, in any case.
