Question:

Can the va do a whole reconstructive job on a face if the person was badly hurt in a helicopter crash?

I know of someone who is cllaiming that he was a lt. colonel in the marines, and said he was involved in a helicopter crash, that was shot down, had a bullet in his head, and his face was tore all too pieces, but claims the va re-did his whole face, is this possible?

  1. There are plastic surgeons in the military, and yes, they do that sort of work, so yes.  

    That sort of work could take years of healing and retouching, so it makes sense that if the work required more time than his time in the military, that the VA would continue what was begun during his initial surgeries.
