  1. You can have a short, or better known as an electrical short in the line. If this Voltage Regulator has an air gap for the voltage gap adjustment, it can cause a short too if it's overcharging.  Usually fuse "popping" is an electrical short.


  2. you DO have a short.  are you sure you're connecting the right cable to the right battery post?  is so, look for a wiring problem.  if the regulator is causing it, it's in the external wiring.

  3. if the fuse keeps blowing ,get a 5 ohm resistor and connect it each side of the fuse, but also keep the fuse in the circut, this should solve your problem. obviously you are going to check everything else first.

  4. There is quite a few areas to look> check all connections on battery>Is there anything you have done to the electrical before the fuse blew if so go back and check it again>Un plug the charging coil and see if the fuse blows>Start un pulging till you fine it>
