I was playing Scattergories and 'E' was the letter rolled, I put each down and explained just as 'all' would mean them as a whole, 'each' would mean a single piece...what do you think?

  1. I think in your example, the word would be an adjective that defines the measurement. Therefore, I'd say YES.

  2. First of all you are crazy!!! You just dont go outside the box you freaking are no where near it. lmao

Definition of EACH-Every one of the two or more individuals composing a number of objects, considered separately from the rest. It is used either with or without a following noun; as, each of you or each one of you.

    # each(a): (used of count nouns) every one considered individually; "each person is mortal"; "each party is welcome"

    # to or from every one of two or more (considered individually); "they received $10 each"

  3. Erica you blond...look at the second answer and get over it!

  4. i don't think 'each' is a form of measurement

imagine a road being 45 eaches long lol

  5. It depends.  Strictly speaking, each is not a form of measurement.  However, in the garment industry and other related industries, a single piece is called an 'each' and several single pieces are called 'eaches.'

But that's what is known as trade jargon, which implies it's not in common use in the population as a whole.
