Can these weight lifts stunt my growth?

I'm 13 almost 14 years old and I'm very active and do sports and do a lot of active activities. I do about 5 different weight lifts with 25 pound and 20 pound dumbbells, Mostly biceps curls and concentration curls ect. These weights are comfortable for me to lift and I keep good technique when I lift. I just wanted to make sure that these weights would not stunt my growth in anyway? All I can see on the internet is mixed reactions from people

Thanks

  1. no doing curls with dumbells will not stunt your growth. if you were doing heavy squats then that would be diffrent.

  2. dumbells and abs of steel are not for teens -_-

until you are 18/19/20/21y.o just stick to press ups, chin ups and sit ups and other ways of toning muscles and exercise..

  3. Assuming you weigh around 110 to 140 pounds, the dumbbell weights seem to be OK and will allow your muscles to be stressed without causing any harm.  If you want to build muscle and improve your physique, keep active and make sure you eat right.  Get enough protein and avoid junk food and processed sugar.

It is best to avoid lifting very heavy weights until after you reach puberty and have attained most of your growth. For many, this occurs between the age of 15 and 17.
