  1. It is a bad feed from somewhere.

The "MLS" numbers do not exist.     I did not try to figure out where this is coming from, but these properties are not for sale.

They may be tax lien sales, which do not belong in realtor.com, but that is what they look like.

  2. most likely rental prices, they just didn't clearly label them as rent - no way a 20 yr house in Cali sells for $1475 - the bare land is probably worth 50 times that

  3. Yes they can be that cheap. Places like Michigan you can buy property for 10K, Baltimore MD 5K etc........ They will be dumps. lets look at your cheap house, it costs 3K to purchase + closing costs, then it costs 20K to fix it up, but the property might only be worth 12K when its all said and done. Not so cheap now is it?

  4. If they are that cheap, there is a reason.

Remember the old adage:  If it seems too good to be true, it probably is.

  5. It does seem too good to be true.  They could be foreclosures.

  6. Those are rental properties. So for one that says $1275, 3 bed, 2 bath, thats to rent the house for 1 month.

Either that or they have a mortgage already and thats the cost for you to take over the mortgage, which can also happen. So basically you're paying to pay off someone else's mortgage that they couldn't pay.

  7. I looked at the website and all I can say is that those listings are a mistake.  It is not possible for a property to sell at that price.  Call the listing broker and ask them--they will know for sure.

  8. I believe they are probably rentals and just not listed properly. That is probably the amount per month.

  9. It's possible.  Some townhouses in Phoenix sold for $4,500.

  10. It looks like they are lease properties, the amount you are seeing is the monthly payment.

  11. Those are estimated monthly mortgage payments.  The site referenced has BAD INFO.

Tax Assessor's Value Depending on the jurisdiction where you live, this value could be the tax assessed, tax appraised, or market assessed value. This value comes from the taxing authority of the city, county or state where you live; this is not Zillow's value. Note: Tax assessor's values differ from Zillow's Zestimate, which is computed by entering numerous data points into a proprietary formula, often resulting in a more accurate value estimate.
