Can they cancel my holiday? I sent payment for my holiday by recorded delivery, which was received by them on?

16th july - but the incompetents sent it onto their boss in majorca and now royal mail have failed to deliver the pack of letters. Now the company boss is threatenng to cancel my holiday due to non payment!

Can he do this - legally?

  1. No they cannot, for as long as you have proof of payments, you can sue them instead if they do cancel your holiday.

  2. you entered into a legal agreement and you kept to your side of the bargain.

    if you have proof of delivery they will be breaking the agreement and you will be able to sue them

  3. You would have to read the terms and conditions very thoroughly to see if you violated them.  Unfortunately as I am sure you are aware  the consumer is often the loser.  If there is considerable money at stake consider seeing a lawyer as soon as possible.  Good luck.
