  1. No. Hamsters are solitary animals, and will fight for territory.

Mice should only be kept with other mice.

  2. I would not suggest introducing hamsters and mice together in the least. I've got a hamster, mice, and rats and from my experience with both the rats and the mice, they do not cope well with other animals of different species. My rats will even kill MICE, despite their close relation.

Perhaps the hamster would have no problem with the mouse, but I would not trust a rodent such as a mouse with a hamster. Your best bet is to just leave them seperate if you want to assure that both live and are healthy.

Otherwise, try at your own risk. My rats do cope with rabbits so, maybe I'm wrong. I just wouldn't just rodents such as mice and rats with other smaller animals.

  3. They will most likely fight, small animals generally don't like other species of small animals. You can try, if you want to, try having their cages close together for a few days so they get used to each others smell, and I would recommend putting the male in the females cage, as male animals are more territorial than females, but don't let that fool you as a female can also be very aggressive about territory. Or you can have them meet in a neutral place, like a new cage or something, to try and eliminate the territoriality.

But expect a fight, I personaly would not do it, they could hurt eachother.

for a dwarf i would still keep them separate

  6. NO!!! Your hamster will kill your mouse.  Don't even try it.

  7. Definitely not. Hamsters and mice are different animals and won't get along. Plus, you don't want them to get sick form each other :] Just keep them separate :D
