  1. Ask to take a placement test.  Then accept what grade your scores place you in.

  2. c**p, only 10 abseces. i have been abcent for 25 days +

  3. r u serious.. wow.. when i use to be in a regualr highschool i had over 150 absenses by the end of the year.. but my grades did end up suffering.. i wasnt forced though to stay a grade behind.. i wasnt really behind only in some credits..

  4. Yes they can hold you back. Missing more than 10 days of school can seriously hurt your ability to learn the material, especially in high school.

Plan to take placement tests and then take summer school classes.  And next year keep track of your absences and don't let skipping school keep you from being a Junior.

  5. tell them to take the 9th grade and cram it where the sun don't shine.  I would have my parents at the PTA meetings and school board meetings bitching them all out!!!
