Can they post my full address?

ok maybe i didnt make my question clear the last time. i understand they can make your arrest public, but can they make my full address public. i mean they did the exact city street building number AND apt #.

  1. A common misconception is that addresses and phones are private information.  This is not legally correct.  For instance, if you just give me your name and state, I can find out a lot about you in subscription databases online.

    So, yes, on your arrest record, the court can make all information public.  

    If this makes you uncomfortable, you can petition the court to seal your arrest record, which would make the entire record private.  Do a little homework online and you'll find the correct form to use for this or ask a clerk court for help, or go to a public law library (there should be one very near the court) and ask the librarian for help in researching this and for the form or hire an attorney to do it for you.

    It is pretty easy to get the court to seal your record if you have a good reason why they should.
