As you know GM Genetically Modified (GM) Plants and Food are causing havoc in the world causing deaths of animals, allergy other dreaded diseases.

One line petition to be submitted to the heads of states/countries and all other prominent leaders, administrators, scientists, and ...

'We the residents of various countries request all the heads of states/countries and other stake holders in the science, promotion and business of Genetically Modified (GM) plants and crops and all products produced from these un-natural and anti-nature plants to ban and help in eradicating all the Genetically Modified (GM) plants and crops and all products produced from these un-natural and anti-nature plants as we are 100% convinced of their scientifically and logically proven disastrous harmful effects on human & animal health, and environment & ecology'.

  1. I don't buy it. Animals are being cloned & they have proven safe to eat. Besides this could prove a valuable tool to fight world hunger & a boost for renuable fuel supply. Just imagine having all the corn needed for ethanol without dipping in the food supply.

  2. I understand your cause and it is indeed a concern. However, a bigger concern is our planets ever increasing population. It is projected that the world’s population will double by the middle of this century. We will need more food but will have less land to grow it on. Genetically modified food will play an important part in keeping up with demand. We’ll need crops that are more disease resistant, give increased yields per acre, and require little water to do so.

The biggest of all concerns is if there will be enough fresh water for agriculture as well as human consumption. Presently, fifteen percent of the world’s fresh water is to polluted to use. By the middle of the century that figure is expected to increase to approximately thirty percent. Without genetically modified foods that require less water, our existence may be in peril.

Our efforts to avoid human caused environmental catastrophes lack luster. Presently there is a commitment to reducing green house gas 20% by 2020. However, by 2020 the worlds population will increase approximately 20%. It’s a wash. It’s as though a pond is being pumped one meter lower every 24 hours but the stream feeding into it fills the pond one meter every 24 hours.

Our politicians coddle us by giving solutions that only sound good but don’t ring true.

  3. cant help sorry

  4. No, it can't. Genetically modified food is not only the answer to the world's problems, it's also more delicious.

  5. It would have everybody who knows anything about the subject laughing at them after reading the first sentence.

If you are going to claim 'havoc' then you need to provide some verifiable evidence.  Otherwise you will get caught as having nothing more than hot air to back up your claims.

  6. The European Union did move to ban Genetically Modified Foods in 2004 I think. There could be more done on this front though. There is the possibility of a campaign to ban fast food for this reason in The U.S.A. and other places with it. The European Union might do something if asked to go a step further and make Genetically Modified foods illegal. The U.S.A, could also receive a message the main issue is dangerous food not illegal immigrants.

  7. Uh, dude....

Once upon a time someone also said "As you all know, the world is flat, we need to stop those folks who say otherwise!"

Your proof to this assertion is.....?

    Call when you get some.
