Can this be a pet name?

I know a female tan and brown pug named "Mocha". It's cute for her but it seems a bit unusual. What do you think?

It's not that odd.  I work at a clinic and we have clients with dogs named anything from Milo to Inga to Princess Tutu.

I believe in pets having original names. I personally wouldn't name a pet Mocha, but I see no problem with it. My cat's names are Bebka and Bella... slightly original for cats.

Is Mocha an unusual name? Try naming your goldfish Eric and see what kind of judgment people pass on a daily basis just because you didn't want to call it "Goldy".

Mocha's a cute name. I've known several cats and dogs with that name.

I have a dog named Mocha she is brown w/pointy ears and about 25 pounds I think Mocha is a cute name for any animal

You can name a pet anything you want...Mocha is not the most unusual name I've heard. I like it.
