Can this be contractions?

Question

I'm 34 weeks today with twins, i woke up about a half hour ago to urinate with a tremendous abdomen pain, as soon as i used the bathroom it felt better. But i have this weird uncomfortable feeling all over my body like in my bones or something, i feel alot of pressure in the middle of my back, it feels like even my jaw and ears are sore, the pain in my belly is undescribable is not alot but it feels wierd and the same with my breast its like a deep uncomfortable feeling. What can this be?

this could be due to way the twins are lying or you maybe in labour i would ring delivery suite up just incase

Since you are 34wks., you should be going to the OB-GYN weekly, during the 9th month.

It sounds like you are ready to deliver, in the next week.

As a midwife its really hard to tell whats going on in the question you have asked. Some women do experience backpain which can be premature labour. It could be a urinary tract infection (during pregnancy you don't always get the burning or stinging) which can cause an irritable uterus (you could be mini contractions that arent labour ones).

Basically it could be several things, but seeing as you are pregnant with twins and only 34 weeks, i would be ringing the hospital where you are booked to have your babies and discuss the options with the midwives. Goodluck with your twins.

Sounds like early part of labour when your body is getting ready to do contractions, take some painkillers and chill out, you will know when contractions start but the best thing to do is rest in preperation. If your at all worried contact your midwife or the hospital you plan to give birth at. Best of luck.
