  1. It does not have a built-in infrared emitter - if that is what you are asking. Only some Sony camcorders do - Look for the "SuperNightShot" feature. If that is not listed, then the camcorder does not have it.

    Or you can add an external infrared LED light and hope the camcorder can use that type of lighting.
