If he were to have bombed innocent civilians over America, been shot down, he would have had a military tribunal and been summarily shot.

In answer to your question:  Oh, yea!  And then some, pardner.  I do want to correct you on one item, though:  There is no longer a far left, or extreme left, they are anarchists and America haters and need to be treated as such.  They lie, commit crimes against property and people, and generally are unfit for life.  They are a danger to the country and to the individual.  Go heavily armed and dangerous, if you have to be within striking distance of the far/extreme left.

All I can say is LOOK at Illinois--Chicago's rampant drive by murderers-being absent for the past year from his senate seat while he interviews for the job of president--his inability to fix his own state should scream volumes to the American voters that this PERSON CANNOT change what is going on in his own back yard--how the heck is he capable of being given more power of more states when he has failed so miserably already?

   I never saw this as McCain "POW"/"War Hero" vs ????  That is an unfair simplification.    Since you select this level of his qualifications, his military experience is more critical now than it was a month ago.   Russia needs to be dealt with and it must be with more than Obamas weak concept of "negotiation" or talk.   IF Russia is permitted to get away with this the ramifications are critical for us and Europe. We NEED a POTUS who is experienced and "ready" to take the hard road IF necessary.  Russia has made numerous threats over the past months of military force and they have proven their intent.

McCain supporters really can't claim he was a war hero just because he was a POW.

If you want to define it that way.....its your right and your position....I would not agree with it but that is my right and position.....I am not an Obama lover....but I also think that McCain has a proven track record in supporting Bush's bad Policy decisions......There's been 8 yrs of that and as a nation I don't think we can afford 4 more yrs.  Bush has us in Iraq and Afganistan....billions of Dollars and no end in sight...  How many years do you want to spend paying off that debt?
