Here's my team:

QB's Big Ben/Jeff Garcia

RB's Portis/McGahee/Rudi Johnson/Julius Jones

WR's Chad Johnson/Plaxico Burress/Joey Galloway/Patrick Crayton/Nate Burleson

TE Tony Gonzalez

K Josh Brown

DEF's San Diego/Seattle

Who would you package to trade? Who should I try to get?

  1. I think you got a pretty decent team. I would try to make a trade for Lynch, Wayne, and Kellen Winslow. I would Trade Willis McGahee and Julius Jones for Marshawn Lynch. And Chad Johnson + Plaxico Burress for Reggie Wayne or Chad Johnson + Nate Burleson for Braylon Edwards. And then trade Tony Gonzalez and the Seahawks D/ST for Kellen Winslow and a slightly worse defense then the Seahawks. Good Luck!!

  2. trade chad johnson...the man is the master of the vanishing act....his numbers all come in 3-4 games per season, he gets nothing after that.  your RBs are questionable...i like portis but he's always a health risk, as is mcgahee...their upside is not as high as others. big ben is solid and jeff garcia should be a capable backup.

it depends on your league scoring system...if its a standard yahoo league, then i would package the johnsons to get a more consistent WR...if there is any way that you could get andre johnson off somebody's hands then i would greatly advise going for him

  3. Good looking team. I would only change a few things. I would try and trade Rudi Johnson. Maybe him and Galloway to get santonio Holmes. Hes gonna have a stand out season. Plus that way you have the big ben to holmes combo

  4. Looks like a good team although both qb's can have great weeks and then follow up with a stinker. I would see if you couldn't package portis and rudi for a more solid RB though.

  5. You are OK at RB, as long as they can stay healthy.

Just watch the Rudi Johnson situation, the Bengals have a log jam at RB with Kenny Watson and Kenny Irons.

So it may be RB by committee in Cincy.

Stick with your top 3 WRs.

Crayton and Burleson are not going to get you much for stats.

Watch your waiver wire and look for break out WRs in training camp and the preseason.

You can try some trading, but I really don't see where you have players that other people are going to want to get that bad that they will trade their big name players.

  6. I would say you should hold onto that team just as it is.  You're set at every position.  In fact your backups are just awesome - it looks like you really cleaned up in the later rounds of the draft.

Chad Johnson is a bit of a question mark but I'm guessing you got him in the 3rd-4th round, and that's a good value.  Don't trade him unless you can get Steve Smith-, Andre Johnson-, or Marques Colston-level talent for him.  You may even have trouble picking between Galloway, Crayton, and Burleson some weeks for the WR3 position but that's a great problem to have.

With the RBs, I love the young-old combination like McGahee and Johnson.  The younger risks like Portis and McGahee are balanced by the hope of consistency from Rudi Johnson.  I'm not sold on Julius Jones yet but he's certainly good enough to be your 4th string!

You are all set at TE-K-DEF - in fact your second string defense will be better than most people's first.  You might think about trading Seattle for a second TE just in case Gonzales can't hold on for another year especially surrounded by such garbage in KC.

Whatever you do, I think you will have a great season.
