Can 2 JBL W12GTi MK ll 12" 4000 watt subwoofer be powered by 1 JBL GTO 14001E 1500WRMS 3000W max car amp amplifier

  1. Yep. It'll work.

    But, you'll have to wire them in series to a 6 ohm final load. You'll end up with around 900 to 1000 watts for the pair. Which is more than sufficient.

    P.S. Always use the RMS power of the sub and the amp when making any decisions. The MAX rating isn't worth looking at. It's more of a marketing tool. And, most importantly make sure that the car's charging system is up to the task.  


  2. that's what i'm talking about son,,,thats PERFECT MATCHING and price GO FOR IT use a 4guage wire set and set it correctly and mount it in a good airy position,,,

  3. yeah, looks like a decent match. the subs could handle more power but this setup will still bump.
