Can thyroid problems make it difficult to get pregnant?

I am TTC and this has been brought up in conversation with my OB/GYN. Mommies with Thryoid problems please help!

  1. Absolutely.  Fluctuating hormones, along with weight gain or loss resulting from the thyroid disfunction, can severely affect your fertility.


  2. Yes. Be sure to have a TSH test and get the data on that to your OBGYN or RE. Medication can help a lot!
