  1. It's not great, so I would take it in moderation.  If you have GD then sugar is actually worse for you then Splenda, but I would still try to limit it as much as possible.  Try drinking mainly water and limit yourself to one soda per day.

I also had GD and yes, it sucks to not be able to eat what you want, but you're making sacrifices for the health of your baby.  Think of it as practice for after the baby gets here because you will always put your baby first.  I was able to control my GD with diet alone but I had to be VERY strict, and it was difficult at times, but my babies were/are very healthy.

  2. In general even if you arent pregnant diet pop is VERY bad for you. I would stop with it and with the candy splenda has been proven not to good for your and plus sugar only has 15 calories for every teaspoon so its really not that bad for you but I would talk with your doctor at your next appt. I would stop drinking the diet pop now though, there is a chemical in diet pop that can mimic the signs and symptoms of Lupus which is a very deadly diesease. Good luck.

  3. Drinking soda, diet or otherwise is unwise during pregnancy. After the baby is delivered, he or she can become very jittery because of the caffeine withdrawl. They are very cranky and not very happy babies.

  4. NONONO...its ok..

I drank Splenda diet coke with my 3rd child all the way...
