Can tourists from the U.S drink at age 18 in cancuun also?

I was just curious because I plan on going to cancuun for spring break. And I know that the legal drinking age in cancuun in 18 but is that also legal for people that are just visiting there form the U.S?

Drinking age laws apply to everyone, tourists and locals. So, yes you can drink if you're an 18 yr. old tourist in Cancun, but you can't legally in Thailand, the legal age here is 20. You do know that Cancun isn't in Thailand, don't you?

even some I saw 15 and they will drink  

some countries they dont follow rules
