Can trailers be haunted?

I heard that hauntings are associated with a specific area, but what about a mobile home because they can be moved to other areas? Would the spirit follow the home or would they just stay where they were. I know this is a silly question. I am just curious. lol

  1. I live in a large old trailer with some add on. I seen four different ones in here with in two years. One she's like a very good friend.

I know a guy who bought a old trailer from a junk yard, he wanted to use it for like a storage shed. He said every time he went into it, it felt like anger was in there. He once lock his dogs in there, when he went somewhere, the dogs didn't want to go in there. So when he came home and open the door, them poor dogs took off to get away from the trailer. He said, he never saw his dogs so scared. This guy went back to talk to the junk yard man about the trailer. The junkyard man said that a young teen girl took her life, because her father and brother done some bad things to her. The junkyard man said that he would take it back. I think he said it was like the seventh time he took it back.

  2. its the land. If you trailer is on land that was once something else they lived on or visited often then you might have a haunting. I've seen ghosts going thru actions...that didn't make sense for where they were standing. (ex: turning on lights where there isnt a light switch) So I assume ( i could be wrong) They see what the place used to be.

  3. There are no such things as haunted trailers, only haunted people.

  4. Yes they can, I know because mine is. The original owner died but after he sold the trailer that Man who bought it told me the ghost was the reason they sold it to the guy before us, he never noticed anything at least that's what he said.

But there are at least two here a Man and a Woman, I have a photo of the woman holding a little black dog.

She must be OK, she likes Dogs, I am a dog person as well.

  5. Once you create boundaries you create a container, and when you have a container you have something that can be haunted. Though this tends to apply more to places (houses, etc) rather than things (Boxes, etc)

Usually hauntings are associate a place where something specific happened or whether the source of the haunting spent a protracted period.

Personally, I'd say that if the haunting was triggered by an event inside the trailer then it could follow the trailer, but that it would most likely be the lot that was haunted unless the event was specifically related to the trailer. For example, if somebody was murdered inside the trailer during a feud over the trailer's ownership.

In many haunting cases the haunting is associated with the land rather than the building. Look how many times do we hear of new houses being haunted after they are built on the remains of an older house that was torn down.

  6. any area can be haunted. if you move it onto an indian burial ground, or if you just attract spirits.

  7. Yes.  Actually, anything can be haunted.  Or have a spirit, demon, angel, or something else attached to it.  I have personally seen demons pass through my mirrors, lived in haunted houses, and been both possessed and exorcisor of the possessed.  If you can think of it, it's possible.  Easy as that.

  8. If a spirit is connected to the trailer, then it could move with it. If it is linked to the ground, then it would not go.

  9. It's not a silly question at all.

Yes they can be haunted because technically a haunting implies the haunting of a place , or sometimes it may not be a place at all sometimes, it's an object or a person that is haunted.

Spirits stay behind sometimes not for the purpose of haunting a particular house, but sometimes it's a person that they are attached to and hang around or it could be an object that they may have been attached to in life.

So i personally dont see any reason why a trailer house wouldnt be able to be haunted.

    Hope i helped   =D

  10. sure they can. some ghost are attached to people as well. I'd like to think i may have family members with me at all times watching over me. =D

  11. Ghost experts agree on one thing.Ghosts are real and they know all about them. Are they mobile? The answer is yes/no.As with most ghost expert opinion. The correct answer to any question differs from expert to expert. The question is which expert is correct. The answer, they all are/are not.The fact is ghosts are silly superstitions. There is no such thing. The answer to your question. No,trailers can not be haunted.

  12. Yes they can.  The structure itself can be haunted,,even if it is mobile.  If a spirit is attached to it, it will follow.  But spirits can haunt in relation to buildings, the land they sit on or even objects that may have been theirs.  It all depends on the situation.

  13. Yes, they can.  Just closed a case on one.

  14. Great question. I've wondered the same thing. I'm in a camper...so I have reason to wonder about this. Also..our dogs are buried beside it. I wouldn't mind at all our dogs "haunting" my camper...but I don't think I would consider it a haunting...more of a visitation.I'm pretty sure they could haunt anything they want to. For example..if you bring home a "haunted" antique into a trailer etc.Or..if someone died in it and gets "stuck". (I'm just going by what I've read. I haven't had any personal experiences since I've been here...but a house on the beach was haunted, I'm sure. A teacher who died had lived there...but I have no idea if it was her.) (I think some spirits just like to play with people's lives...and end up destroying them.)

  15. According to the research I've read, spirits that haunt trailers tend to stay at their particular trailer park. So if you take your trailer somewhere else, you'll leave your old ghosts behind but you might pick up new ghosts at your new location. So if you're unhappy with the spirits you have now, I'd recommend trying a few different trailer parks until you find the spirits you like the best. If you don't want spirits at all, the only way to guarantee that is to plant a "fence" of sage around your trailer. It functions like one of those electric dog fences, except it works on ghosts.
