  1. No, tuberculosis is caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Bacillus antracis causes anthrax in man and animals.


  2. No, tuberculosis is, by definition, not caused by bacillus anthracis.  

    Bacillus anthracis causes anthrax.  The route of exposure has a big effect on the course of disease.  If anthrax spores are inhaled, you get inhalation anthrax, which is the most deadly sort.  If you get the spores in a cut in your skin, you can get cutaneous anthrax, which is more likely to look gross than kill you.  If you accidentally eat the spores (eg in contaminated meat), you could get intestinal anthrax.
