Can twinkies survive a nuclear explosion?

Not if I were anywhere near.  A twinkie hasn't survived my attack ever.

I don't think twinkies can last a nuclear explosion because the heat of the nuclear explosion would burn them up unless they  are very far from it but then there is radiation so they would be a risk to eat them

I highly doubt it, there are other things that have a way higher chance of surviving a nuclear explosion.

I can definitely tell that you got this theory from the Family Guy episode "Da Boom!" (A.K.A. "Y2K").

If they are in the blast-zone, then definitely not.  They would be charred to carbon in a flash, then the carbon dust would be blown away from the shock wave.

I saw this one episode of Family Guy where the twinky plant was the only thing that survived a nuclear explosion.  So, if you trust Family Guy as a valid source, then Yes, Twinkies can survive a nuclear explosion.
