  1. no.

  2. They can have the same IP address if there on the same internet network. So if your Internets wireless then all the computers connected to it have the same IP address.

Uh yeah they would have the same IP.

    Hope this helps

  3. No they cannot. The last number has to be different. For example:

    192.168.0.10

    192.168.0.15

  4. i don't think that's possible. when i set up my new router i tried to give them the same ip address and one would connect, but the other wouldn't. its not possible to have two comps with the same ip address they both have to be unique, but I am not sure about the program you are using.

  5. The purpose of an IP address is to identify the Network Card and the computer.  In order to send packets to someone you have to have a unique IP address.  If they would the small you could not send anything.

    IP addresses are unique

  6. It depends on how your network is set up. More than likely you pay a company (an ISP) money every month and they give you a modem. Unless your ISP is an oddball or you pay for a special service, then any computer plugged into that modem will have the exact same IP address on the internet.

In short, yes. In fact, it's likely that your two computers have the same IP address.

Joe (underneath me) and I assume a good number of other Answerers are operating under a misconception. You have two IP addresses. One is internal, and one is external. On a network, each computer will have a different IP address that the networked computers can use to "talk" to eachother. However, every computer on that network will have the same IP address when they go out to the internet. Again, unless your ISP is offering a special service, all of the computers in your house will have the same IP address on the internet.

  7. No--the IP addresses would conflict with each other if that happened.

  8. Cannot. Because the mailman or the postman will get confused with multiple address..!!!

  9. No every pc has a differnt one look at your ip out of those billion pc out there only you have that by doinin this the FBI can trak you if you hack there system XD
